Peter Fox Biography

Peter Fox made his television debut at the age of eight, on The Kraft Music Hall with Alan King, Anne Meara, and James Coco in 1970. He is the son of a Theatrical Publisher (Peter C. Fox),and grandson of a silent film star (Rosa Rudami) . His mother, Maureen O'Neill Fox, is a retired ballerina, who once danced with the Royal Ballet of London. Bitten by "the bug" at an early age, Peter continued as a child actor in commercials and extra spots on television.

As a college student, Peter perfomed stand-up comedy in New York City at The Comedy Store and other New York clubs. After graduating Richard Stockton College in 1992, Peter penned a screenplay which was submitted to the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, CA. He was admitted to the elite Screenwriting Fellows program there in 1993. In 1994, he began as an Intern at Concorde New Horizons Pictures, reading and covering screenplays for Roger Corman.

While continuing his studies at the A.F.I., he went on to work as a reader at Universal for Alphaville Pictures (Mallrats, The Jackal, Michael), then at Paramount for Prelude Pictures. He then went to work as Assistant to Producer David Foster,(The Mask of Zorro, The River Wild, and Wildcard) where he learned fisrthand, the production and development side of the film industry, while continuing to read and do coverage on feature screenplays. He has also worked for Producers Alex Rose at Paramount (Nothing in Common, Frankie and Johnny) and Joseph S. Vecchio, (Sunchaser, Oscar). Peter graduated with a Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting from The A.F. I. in 1996.

Since the opening of Tripeg Studios in 2005, Peter has continued as an active Producer and Instructor of Screenwriting. He assisted in the post production of the sci-fi horror flick Predator Island (released by Universal). He has addressed the Hollywood East Task Force in Hartford for Senator James Aaman, and has lectured at universities and film festivals throughout the northeast. The Inside Track Workshops for Screenwriting, begun in the year 2000 at the grass roots level, has now been conducted throughout the Northeast in theatres such as The Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, N.J. and The Bushnell Theatre in Hartford CT. The first national dates are scheduled for 2011, with appearances in Chicago, Indianapolis, Beijing and Shanghai, China.
